Professional Protocol

Prepare

Double cleanse and prepare the skin according to the MITRA Professional Treatment Protocol.

Apply

Dispense approximately 1 mL of Accelerate Renewal Peel and distribute evenly over the treatment area using a cotton tip. Any remaining product may be applied selectively to areas of pigmentation or other areas requiring additional correction.

Apply one layer only. Do not apply additional layers. Avoid the delicate eye area.

Allow the peel to remain on the skin and absorb naturally. A tingling sensation is expected and should generally subside within 5 to 10 minutes. If required, gently tapping the fingertips over the skin may help reduce the sensation.

Observe

Leave in place for up to 10 minutes while monitoring the skin throughout the treatment.

Recover

Generously apply MITRA Post Peel Recovery Mist to cool, comfort and restore hydration following treatment. Press into skin and remove any remaining residue with damp cool fibrella.

Finish

Complete the treatment with the appropriate MITRA finishing products and prescribe the recommended MITRA home care regimen.

Post Treatment Expectations and Care

Micro shedding may occur from approximately day 2 through to day 8 following treatment. Advise clients not to pick, peel or excessively rub areas of shedding or compromised skin.

Areas of pigmentation and actinic keratoses may temporarily appear darker or feel firmer as the skin progresses through the renewal process.

Avoid Vitamin A & C and exfoliating serums for 24 hours following treatment.
